Mathias Repin, a farmer, and his wife Anna Maria settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30.

Mattias Repin and his family are recorded on the 1775 census of Kamenka in Household No. 7.

Widow Christina Repin and her family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kamenka in Household No. 105.

Joseph Repin from Kamenka is recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 51.

Franz Repin from Kamenka and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 35.

The 1767 census records that Mathias Repin [sic] came from the German village of Schneidemühl in Poland.
