Widower Johann Riedelmann, a craftsman (Handwerker), settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 29 June 1764. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 32.
The 1767 census records that Johann Riedelmann came from the German town of Danzig.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Riedelmann family among the Volga German colonies.
