Rieger (Kutter)
Konrad Rieger, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 8 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 12 along with his new wife, Elisabeth.
The 1798 census of Kutter records (Household No. Kt54) that Konrad Rieger is a shepherd in Beideck.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Rieger was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker).
Both documents record that Konrad Rieger came from the German region of Isenburg.
