Gottfried Riemer, a carpenter (Zimmermann), and his wife Magdalena are recorded on the 1767 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 42. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.

Gottfried Riemer and his descendants are recorded on the 1798 census of Orlovskaya in Households No. Or01 and Or31.

The 1767 census records that Gottfried Riemer came from the German region of Dessau.
