Ritz (Semenovka)*
Anna Katharina Ritz, a single woman, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
Anna Katharina Ritz is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with Kaspar Schwab.
Kaspar Schwab, a farmer, and his wife Katharina [Ritz] are recorded on the 1767 census of Semenovka in Household No. 30. They had settled in Semenovka on 24 July 1767.
Kaspar Schwab, his wife Katharina Ritz, and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Semenovka in Household No. Se07.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Katharina Ritz came from the German region of Fulda.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ritz family among the Volga German colonies.
