Rosenberger
Johan Adam Rosenberger, a farmer from the area of Hanau, & Anna Margar. Büttner from Engen Switzerland, were married on 20 August 1766 in Pastor Bruns's house in Lübeck. The marriage is recorded in the parish register of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Lübeck.
Johann Adam Rosenberg[er], a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived at the port of Oranienbaum from Lübeck on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of skipper Franz Nicolaus Schroeder.
Johann Adam Rosenberg and his wife Anna are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Adam settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 68 along with his new wife Dorothea and her brother Leopold Ehrentraudt (age 14).
Descendants of Adam Rosenberger are recorded on the 1834 census of Nieder-Monjou in Households No. 10, 99, & 104.
