Rudolph (Jost)
Franz Andreas Rudolph & Johanne Cathar. Elisabeth Eichhorn were married on 11 May 1766 in Roßlau.
Franz Andreas Rudolph and his wife Anna Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Nord Stern under the command of Skipper Detlev Belling.
Frantz Andreas Rudolph, his wife Anna Catrina, and son Johann Christian (born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that new-born Johann Christian also died en route.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 19 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 63.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Franz Andreas Rudolph was a miller while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
The 1767 census records that Franz Andreas Rudolph came from the German village of Erfurt in the Thüringen region.
