Johann Georg Ruhl (age 6), son of the deceased Philipp Ruhl, is recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 1 along with the Christoph Brenning family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Ruhl and Brenning families.

The 1767 census does not record from where Johann Georg Ruhl came.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Ruhl family among the Volga German colonies.
