Franz Joseph Sachs (age 15) and his brother Siegmundus (age 12) are recorded on the 1767 census of Kamenka in Household No. 37 along with their stepfather Leonhard Retzer.

They had settled in Kamenka on 6 July 1765. Their mother Eva Rosina is recorded on the 1775 census of Kamenka in Household No. 28 remarried to Konrad Kessler. Son Siegmund Sachs (age 20) and daughter Anna Maria Retzer (age 10) are also recorded on the 1775 census of Kamenka in Household No. 28.

The 1798 census of Semenovka records Siegmund Sachs from Kamenka in Household No. Se42.

The 1767 census does not record from where the Sachs family came.
