The baptisms of two children of Johannes Sattler & Engel Catharina Heimbuch are recorded in Büches: (1) Johann Heinrich Sattler, baptized 25 November 1736; and (2) Elisabeth, baptized 14 April 1745.
Johann Heinrich Sattler married in Büches on 9 May 1765 to Anna Elisabetha Flach, daughter of Johann Heinrich Flach from Fleschenbach.
Their daughter Anna Elisabeth was baptized in Büches on 26 January 1766.
Johann Heinrich Sattler, a farmer, and his wife Anna along with his mother Engel and sister Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 18 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 50.
In 1790, widow Elisabeth Sattler and her children moved from Messer to Schilling.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann Heinrich Satler came from the German district of Isenburg.
