Joachim Schäfer, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 10.

Joachim Schäfer, his wife Katharina Losarin [?], and their family are recorded on the 1798 census of Wittmann in Household No. Wm08.

[This Katharina Losarin may be recorded in a marriage in Lübeck before leaving for Russia. Johann Friederich Küschauer & Margaretha Catharina Lesso were married on 9 May 1766 in the Lutheran Cathedral (Evangelische Kirche Dom) in Lübeck.

The 1767 census records that Joachim Schäfer came from the German village of Schönfeld.
