Schüller (Katharinenstadt)
August Schüller, a turner (Dreher), his wife Katharina, and children (Johann, age 13; Johannes, age 10; Konrad, age 5½; Adam, age 4; Anna, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
August Schüler [sic], his wife Catharina, and sons (Nicolaus, age 13; Johannes, age 10½; Conrad, age 8) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits that was attached to the 1767 census (No. 99). They are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka090.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that August Schüller came from the German region of Trier. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Priers in the Trier region.
