Anton Chalitz, a surgeon (Chÿrurgus) from Dietigheim, & widow Caharina Maria Theresia Busch née Franck from Sinnburg in the duchy of Bergen were married on 27 June 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.

Anton Schalitz, a farmer, and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3.

The 1767 census records that Anton Schalitz came from the German village of Thüngersheim.

Widow Anna Maria Schalitz is recorded on the 1798 census of Semenovka in Household No. Se26.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
