Scheffler (Grimm)*
Konrad Scheffler, his wife Justina, and daughters (Elisabeth, age 15; Anna Maria, age 13; Katharina Elisabeth, age 11) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
Konrad Scheffler and his wife Justina are recorded on the 1767 census of Grimm in Household No. 88.
They are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 159 along with daughters (Anna Maria, age 21; Katharina Elisabeth, age 19 - who do not appear on the 1767 census).
Daughter Anna Maria is recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm150 married to Samuel Gillig.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Scheffler was a farmer from the German region of Isenburg. The 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker) from the German region of Isenburg.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendant lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
