Discussion & Documentation:

Johann Heinrich Schick, a cloth weaver (Tuchweber), his wife Eva, and daughters (Christina, age 11; Elisabeth, age 6; Louisa, age 4-days) are recorded on the list of Beauregard recruits that is appended to the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.

It is not known in which colony they settled.

The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Schick came from the German village of Suhl.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schick family among the Volga German colonies.
