Schilling (Köhler)
Johann Schilling, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and his sister Margaretha (age 20) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov.
Johannes Schilling and his wife Margaretha are recorded on the 1767 census of Köhler in Household No. 73. They had settled in Köhler on 21 August 1767.
Widower Johann Schilling and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Köhler in Household No. Kl75.
The 1767 census records that Johannes Schilling came from the German village of Steinheim in the region of Mainz.
