Schindler (Dobrinka)
Johann Christoph Schindler, a farmer, and his family immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), arriving in Flensburg on 15 May 1762.
They were dismissed from the Danish colonies on 10 June 1763 and joined the migration to Russia.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 29 July 1765 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 32.
The Eichhorns record that Johann Christoph Schindler came from the German region of Erbach while the 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Hirschbach in Silesia.
