Schlitt
Johann [Heinrich] Schlitt, a weaver, his wife Anna Elisabeth, and children (Christina, age 18; Johann[es], age 15; Anna Maria, age 12; Johann Wilhelm, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
Orphan Johannes Schlitt (age 16) arrived in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 18 living with the Andreas Nolde family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Schlitt and Nolde families. Andreas Nolde had arrived in Oranienbaum aboard the same ship.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann [Heinrich] Schlitt came from the German region of Darmstadt.
