Schlotter (Luzern)*
The baptism of Johannes Philipp Schloder, son of Johannes Jakob Schloder & Anna Maria Basser, is recorded on the parish register of Orb on 1 November 1739.
Philipp Schlotter, a farmer, and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Philipp Schluder [sic] and his wife Barbara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census in Household No. 115 along with a note that they settled in the Volga German colony of Luzern in 1768.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Philipp Schlotter came from the German region of Mainz. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Orb.
