Christian Christoph Schlooterbeck [sic] and Anna Sÿdonia Schuchart were married 12 October 1765 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lübeck.

A Mr. Schlotterbeck (first name not recorded), a farmer, and his wife Anna settled in the Volga German colony of Bauer on 20 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 46.

The 1767 census records that Mr. Schlotterbeck came from the German village of Kunsonheim in the Wittenberg region.

This surname does not appear to continue among the Volga German colonies.
