[b] Orphan Anna Margaretha Schmidt (age 14), daughter of the deceased Christoph Schmidt, is recorded on the 1767 census of Messer in Household No. 79.
[c] Reinhard Schmidt is recorded on the 1775 census of Schilling in Household No. 67.
In 1792, Reinhard Schmidt and his family moved from Beideck to Schilling.

Reinhard Schmidt from Schilling and his son Johann Martin are recorded on the 1811 census of Straub in Household No. 54 along with a note that they arrived in Straub from Schilling in 1803.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Adam & Reinhard Schmidt came from the German village of Gelnhausen. The 1767 census records that Anna Margaretha Schmidt came from the German region of Isenburg.
