Schneider (Beideck)
Johann Adam Schneider, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and their children (Eva Maria, age 21; Elisabeth, age 16; Johann, age 13; Johann Heinrich, age 11; Anna Christina, age 6; Anna Maria, age 4; Johann Adam, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the galliot Die Fortuna under the command of Skipper Peter Stahl.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Beideck and are recorded there on the 1775 census in Household No. 15.
The 1798 census of Stahl am Tarlyk records Johannes Schneider from Beideck in Household No. St39.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Adam Schneider came from the German region of Darmstadt.
