Schneider (Rosenheim-2)
Widow Katharina Schneider and her children (Anna Maria, age 24; Johann Heinrich, age 18; Barbara, age 11) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
The surviving children settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 57 along with Johann Wolfgang Seignitz who was married to Anna Maria Schneider. A note on the 1767 census records that Heinrich Schneider relocated to the colony of Rosenheim in 1768.
Daughter Barbara Schneider from Krasnoyar is recorded on the 1798 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. Or04.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Katharina Schneider came from the German region of Darmstadt.
