Johann Peter Schneidmüller and Anna Maria Steurnagel married on 11 July 1766 at Pastor Bruns's house in Lübeck.
Johann [Peter] Schneidmüller, a miller (Müller), and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Hussenbach. Peter Schneidmüller is recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Hs013.
The parish register of St. Jakob Lutheran Church in Lübeck records that both Johann Peter Schneidmüller and Anna Maria Steuernagel came from the German region of Hessen-Darmstadt. The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Schneidmüller came from the German region of Darmstadt.
