Discussion & Documentation

Peter Schönebeck, a weaver (Weber), and his wife Engel are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 3 along with a note that they relocated to the village of Biberstein in 1768.

Also recorded with them on the 1767 census is the orphan Anna Katharina Heider (age 12). A relationship between the Schönebeck and Heider family is not recorded.

The 1767 census records that Peter Schönebeck came from the German village of Nasnitz [?].
