Schröder (Jost)
Johann [Wilhelm] Schröder, a single butcher (Fleischer), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 5 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 75 along with a note that his new unnamed wife had died there on 24 September 1767.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann Schröder came from the German region of Gena [?].
