Schreiner (Kraft)
Georg Heinrich Schreiner, son of Johannes Schreiner & Anna Elisabeth Ruppel, was baptized on 20 April 1747 in Engelrod, southwest of Lauterbach.
Johann Georg [sic] Schreiner, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on the pink Cargo under the command of Lieutenant Moses Davydov. Other families from Engelrod were also aboard this ship.
Johann Heinrich [sic] Schreiner settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767, and is recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 14 along with his new wife [Anna] Barbara [Schmidt].
Georg Heinrich Schreiner and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Kraft in Households No. Kf58 and Kf59.
The descendants of Georg Heinrich Schreiner are recorded on the 1834 census of Kraft in Households No. 37, 70, 93, 105, 117, & 126.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Georg Schreiner was a tailor from the German region of Riedesel. The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Schreiner was a farmer from the German village of Engelrod in the Riedesel region.
