Schu(h)mann (Kautz)
Jakob Schuhmann, a farmer, and his wife, Maria, settled in the Volga German colony of Kautz on 20 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.

Konrad Schuhmann, presumed son of Jakob Schuhmann, and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Kautz in Household No. Kz24.
Michael Schuhmann, son of Jakob Schuhmann, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Messer in Household No. 175.
The 1767 census records that they came from the German village of Hassloch.
