Schultheis (Kraft-1)
[Johann] Wilhelm Schultheis, a farmer, his wife Katharina, his brother Johann Heinrich, and sister Anna Elisabeth (age 18) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 30.
Brother Johann Heinrich Schultheis is recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 73 along with the family of his father-in-law Balthasar Busch.
The 1767 census records that Johann Wilhelm Schultheis came from the German village of Stammheim in the Isenburg region.
