Johann Georg Schwartz, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Johannes, age 16; Katharina, age 12; Heinrich, age 6; Dorothea, age 6; Elisabeth, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov.

Johannes Schwartz, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Johannes, age 16; Catharina, age 12; Heinrich, age 6; Dorothea, age 6; Elisabeth, age 3) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that the father Johannes, along with sons Johannes & Heinrich and daughters Dorothea & Elisabeth died en route.

It is not known in which colony the mother Elisabeth and daughter Katharina settled.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Schwartz family among the Volga German colonies.
