Christoph Schweichert, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Reinhard on 15 July 1766 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.

In 1788, Friedrich Schweigert moved from Reinhard to Schwed. In 1788, Valentin Schweigert moved from Schwed to Reinhard.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Schweichert came from the German village of Haase in the Kurpfalz region.
