Schwend*
Johann Heinrich Daniel Schwend and his family immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) arriving in the city of Schleswig on 20 May 1761. They are last recorded in Denmark in May 1763.
They joined the migration to Russia and settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 15 April 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 48.
The Eichhorns record that Johann Heinrich Daniel Schwend was a glazier (Glaser) while the 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker).
The Eichhorns record that Johann Heinrich Daniel Schwend came from the German region of Württemberg. The 1767 census records that they came from the German village of Wimpfen [?] in Austria.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
