Seifert (Fischer)
Valentin Seifert, a farmer, his wife and 4 children immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1762. They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 22 April 1765.
Valentin, his wife Maria Elisabeth, and their children (Dorothea Elisabeth, age 15; Gottlieb, age 13; Christina Louisa, age 1) settled in the Volga German colony of Fischer on 7 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27.
Gottlieb Seifert from Fischer and his sons (Johann Kaspar, age 25; Johann David, age 13¼) are recorded on the 1811 census of Warenburg in Household No. 128 along with a note that he had arrived in Warenburg from Fischer in 1811.
The 1767 census records that Valentin Seifert came from the Polish village of Madrizi [?].
