Konrad Seim, a single tailor, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Frau Catharina under the command of Skipper Johann Joachim Jenßen.
Conrad Seim is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony he settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Seim came from the German region of Darmstadt. A list of colonists from the Gelnhausen and Vogelsberg regions of Hessen records that Konrad Seim came from Ehringshausen or Ettingshausen near Grünberg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Seim family among the Volga German colonies.
