Spengler (Kraft)
Johann Heinrich Spengler and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kraft on 18 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 50.
In 1790, Christian Spengler and his family moved from Kraft to Müller.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Heinrich Spengler was a barber while the 1767 census records that he was a hunter (Jäger).
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann Heinrich Spengler came from the German region of Zweibrücken.
