Steinmüller
Christoph [Karl] Steinmüller, a single tailor (Schneider), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Frank and is recorded there on the 1767 census of in Household No. 69 along with a [step-]daughter Dorothea (age 11) [surname not recorded].
The 1767 census records that Christoph Karl Steinmüller came from the German village of Ilzich [?] in Sachsen (Saxony).
