Stolz (Jost)
Johann Andreas Stolz, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Adler under the command of Skipper Paul Adam Drath.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 19 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 62 along with his new wife Anna Sophia.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Andreas Stolz was a farmer from the German region of Dessau. The 1767 census records that he was a soldier (Soldat) from the German region of Dessau.
