Georg Strasheim, a miller, his wife Anna, and their son Christoph (age 4) arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank. Son Christoph Strasheim and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk015 along with the widow Elisabeth Kissler. The 1798 census does not record a relationship between the Kissler and the Strasheim families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Strasheim came from the German region of Nassau.
