Discussion & Documentation:

Georg Streitmüller, a tailor, and his wife Friederika arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Nikolaus Peter Pinkom.

Joh. Georg Streitmüller and his wife Johanna Fridricka are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that Johanna Fridricka died in route.

It is not known in which colony this family settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Streitmüller came from the German region of Swabia.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Streitmüller family among the Volga German colonies.
