Templing
Karl Templing and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Schilling where they are recorded on the supplement to the 1775 census in Household No. 6. Notes accompanying the 1775 census record that Templing is an apprentice merchant and bookkeeper, but that he is considered insane. He survives because his wife is a diligent worker.
In 1796, widow Sophia Templing and her son Johann Karl moved from Schilling to Kratzke.
Karl Templing from Schilling and his wife Anna Dorothea Knaus are recorded on the 1798 census of Kratzke in Household No. Kr34.
Georg Peter Templing, presumed son of Karl Templing, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Kratzke in Household No. 40.
