Johannes Tiede, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.

Johann Thiette [sic] is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Johann Tiede, a single weaver (Weber), is recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 192. He had settled there on 3 August 1767.

Johann Tiede and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. Or40.

The death of Johannes Tiede in 1816 is recorded on the 1834 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 68.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johannes Tiede came from the German region of Murin [?]. The 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Morin [?].
