[Johann] Georg Trey [sic], a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and daughter Johanna (age 3½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Joh. Georg Trey [sic] and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Georg Tire [sic] and his new wife Maria are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census in Household No. 117 along with a note that they relocated to the Volga German colony of Biberstein in 1768.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Trey [sic] came from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony) while the 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Schönberg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
