Trey (Stahl am Tarlyk)
Samuel Trey, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 16; Johann, age 9; Helena, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 3 June 1766 aboard the galliot Adler under the command of Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk 13 August 1767.
Samuel Trey, a tailor (Schneider), his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Anna Dorothea, age 17; Johann Samuel, age 11; Helena Katharina, age 9) are recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 12.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Samuel Trey came from the German region of Danzig.
