Johann Martin Triut, a single farmer, is recorded on the 1767 census of Jost in Household No. 80. He had settled there on 5 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Johann Martin Triut came from the German village of Gutenberg [?] in the Anhalt-Bernburg region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
