Karl Wilhelm Vogler, a soldier (Soldat), his wife Dorothea Katharina, and children (Friedrich Heinrich, age 14; Johann Anton, age 12; Christian Detlev, age 9; Marianna, age 8; Karl Wilhelm, age 4) are recorded on the 1767 census of Holstein in Household No. 2. They had settled in Holstein on 26 May 1765.

Johann Anton Vogler and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Holstein in Household No. Ho15.

Maria [aforementioned Marianna] Vogler along with her husband Karl Heinitz and family are recorded on the 1798 census of Holstein in Household No. Ho05.

In 1797, widow Elisabeth Vogler and her sons moved from Holstein to Franzosen.

[The descendants of this family in Franzosen and subsequent generations in Wiesenmüller appear to be using the surname Vogel.]
