Christian von Feldt was born in approximately 1786 in Leuven, Belgium.
He served as a soldier in the 5th French Uhlan Regiment of Napoleon's Army. He fought against and was captured by the Russians.
In 1814, he was settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental.
Milovidov records that as of 1814, three brothers and a sister were still living in Leuven.
Christian von Feldt is recorded on the 1834 census of Mariental in Household No. 226 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Herzog in 1818.
In 1818, he is recorded as marrying Anna Maria Therre in the colony of Herzog. They are recorded on the 1834 Census in the colony of Herzog. They are recorded on the 1850 Herzog Census in Household No. 42. He is not recorded on the 1857 Herzog Census, so must have died before 1850.
Milovidov records that Christian von Feldt came from the town of Leuven in Brabant [Belgium] where he had been a peasant.
