Christian von Feldt was born in approximately 1786, probably in France. He served in Napoleon's army and fought against the Russians. He was captured by the Russians, and in 1812 was settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental.
Christian von Feldt is recorded on the 1834 census of Mariental in Household No. 226 along with a note that he relocated to the colony of Herzog in 1818.
In 1818, he is recorded as marrying Anna Maria Therre in the colony of Herzog. They are recorded on the 1834 Census in the colony of Herzog. They are recorded on the 1850 Herzog Census in Household No. 42. He is not recorded on the 1857 Herzog Census, so must have died before 1850.
