Sebastian Wagner, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and daughter Anna Maria (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg along with servant Georg Ulrichhäuser.
Sebastian Wagner, his wife Margreta, and daughter Anna Maria (age 1½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 22 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.
Kaspar Wagner, believed to be the son of Sebastian Wagner, and his wife are recorded on the 1798 census of Pfeifer in Household No. Pf91.
The death of Kaspar Wagner in 1816 is recorded on the 1834 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 187.
Christoph Wagner, son of Kaspar Wagner, from Pfeifer and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 7.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Sebastian Wagner came from the German region of Würzburg while the 1767 census records that he came from the village of Weinsheim.
