Wagner (Urbach-2)
Philipp Wagner, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth Katharina, and children (Heinrich, age 16; Anna Elisabeth, age 13; Elisabeth Katharina, age 10; Maria Elisabeth, age 7; Johann Melchior, age 5; Heinrich Jakob, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard the Danish galliot Engel Rafael under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.
Philipp Wagner, his wife Elisabeth Katharina, and children (Heinrich, age 17; Anna Elisabeth, age 14; Elisabeth Katharina, age 11½; Anna Elisabeth, age 8; Heinrich Jakob, age 3; Sophia Elisabeth, age ¼) are recorded on the 1767 census of Urbach in Household No. 41. They had settled there on 3 July 1767.
The 1767 census records that Philipp Wagner came from the German village of Busecker Tal in the Darmstadt region.
