Discussion & Documentation

Lukas Weber, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Anna Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 10 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 38.

The 1767 census records that Lukas Weber came from the German village of Homburg in the Würzburg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Weber family among the Volga German colonies.
