Weckesser
Danish documents record Johannes and Andreas Weckesser immigrating to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), Johannes in August 1759 and Andreas in May 1760. They are recorded as being from the German village of Sandhausen about 7 kilometers south of Heidelburg in what today is Baden-Württemberg. They and their families left Denmark on 26 April 1763 and joined the migration to the Russian Volga.
Both Johannes and Andreas and their families settled in the Volga German colony of Anton on 18 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 Census of Anton in Households No. 31 (Johannes) and No. 34 (Andreas). Their descendants are recorded in Anton on the 1798 Census in Households No. An45 - An47.
In 1796, widower Andreas Weckeser moved from Anton to Bauer.
